Question:

I have been seriously looking at the Thule Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4inch Class II Trailer Hitch and would like to know if you also sell a 1-1/4inch Class II Trailer Hitch for a 2015 Mazda 3 Sport? Thank you

All the hitches available for a 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback and Sedan are Class I rated, so using a cargo carrier like the Rola # 59109 wouldn't work. This being said, we do have some alternatives.

Beginning with the hitch, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class I hitch, part # 24914. You could then use a tray style carrier like the Curt # C18110 and a cargo bag like the # e98990. This would be a much less expensive alternative to the Rola enclosed carrier. The cargo bag will do an excellent job of keeping the items stored in it free of moisture and road grime, but a torrential downpour might find its way in. This is why we recommend packing anything that absolutely can't get wet in plastic.
