Question:
Can this mount be made with a longer shank? Fourteen inches from the pin hole to the center of the ball? Would this change the towing capacity or tongue weight capacity?

The Draw-Tite Adjustable Ball Mount with Sway-Control Tab # 7390 measures 11-3/4-inches from its hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. I confirmed with my contact there that there is no longer version offered.
MaxxTow Adjustable-Height Ball Mount # MT70068 does not offer the sway control tab but it does offer greater length, measuring 13-inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. The Buyers Products Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount # 3371802225 includes 3 hitch balls and measures 16-inches from the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. This too lacks the sway control tab found on the Draw-Tite.
All extra-long adjustable ball mounts for 2-inch hitches are shown on the linked page.
