CIPA mirror # CM46220 is a direct OEM replacement for the driver-side mirror on your 1998 Dodge Durango but it is not a pull out towing mirror. Slip-on towing mirrors like # CTM3100A are designed to fit those OEM-style mirror housings and would be your best option.
