Question:
What size ball mount comes with this hitch? 2016 Hyundai Accent hatchback front wheel drive
asked by: Ben
Expert Reply:
The ball mount that comes with Hidden Hitch trailer hitch # 60301 (no longer available) for your 2016 Hyundai Accent hatchback is # 3592. On a Class I trailer hitch like this you have to use the ball mount specified by the hitch manufacturer or it voids the hitch warranty. The ball mount must be used in the rise position only.
For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # C56254. Please note that the vehicle owner's manual states that we (Hyundai) do not recommend using this vehicle for trailer towing.
