Trailer Hitch with Best Ground Clearance for a 2004 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I noticed your reply regarding 2011 Sienna ground height clearnce and that the best was the draw tite class 3 model - would the same apply for 2004 Sienna FWD or close?

For your 2004 Toyota Sienna the Class III trailer hitch that will give you the best ground clearance will be Draw-Tite hitch # 75237. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
Once installed either of the above hitches will measure approximately 12 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver opening (or 9-3/4 inches to the bottom of the receiver). There isn't much space on vans!
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin and clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring I recommend # 118304 to install a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have linked a video showing the wiring installation as well.
