Will the Hopkins Smart Hitch Camera HM50002 Install Easily on a 2008 Chevy Silverado with 7-Way

Question:

Does this work on a 2008 Chevy Extended Cab Silverado Pickup truck with out cutting any wires? I want to plug it in with out cutting any wires if I can. I do have the 7 wire trailer plug in on my truck.

Yes, the Hopkins Smart Hitch Camera # HM50002 that you referenced will install easily on your 2008 Chevy Silverado since it has a factory 7-way installed on it already.

It will basically just plug in-line with the 7-way and be ready to go.

I attached an install video that shows this camera being installed on a 2009 Silverado just like yours.
