The easiest way to transport a mobility scooter with your 2006 Toyota Corolla is to use a small trailer with a ramp. We do not offer any hitch-mount cargo carriers with a ramp that will fit the Class I trailer hitch on the Corolla.
To tow a trailer with the 2006 Corolla, you will want the recommended drawbar # 3593 for the Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch # 24913. The # 3593 drawbar offers 2-1/8 inch rise or a 2-3/4 inch drop, and comes with the needed pin and clip. For a hitch ball with a 1-7/8 inch diameter you can use # 19256. For a hitch ball with a 2 inch diameter you can use # 19258.
If you need a trailer wiring harness for the Corolla, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 55542 is confirmed to fit your vehicle.
When choosing a trailer to tow with your Corolla, it is a good idea to check the owner's manual for the towing capacity of the vehicle. I found the manual to list a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 150 pounds for the Corolla.
I have attached help articles on towing a trailer for you, as well as an installation video for the wiring harness and review video of the drawbar.
