Height of the Side Brackets on the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM14791-97

Question:

The frame of my trailer is 3 inches tall and wanted to try and find a coupler that would flush off at the bottom with it so it looks clean and not so much like an add on. I like the looks of this one and was wondering what the hight measurement was on this coupler that sits over the frame.

I went out into our warehouse and grabbed a Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM14791-97 to get the dimension you are looking for and found that from bottom of the top plate to the bottom flange of the coupler measures 3-1/4 inches.
