Hi. most of your older articles about tucson 2016 reference KIt4029 same as 2013-2016 santa fe for the Thule racks. however the more recent ones reference KIT4062. Same thing with the thule website previously suggesting 4029 and now 4062. Would those be almost identical and interchangeable? And to an extent, would any 2013-2016 Santa fe crossbar kit work with the 2016+ tucson?

The correct components you need to complete a Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack are part # TH7602-TH7602 for the crossbars and feet along with the discontinued fit kit 4062.
If your 2016-2018 Tucson has flush mounted rails, you can use the WingBar crossbars # TH711420, feet # TH710601, and fit kit # TH186013.
For your 2013-2016 Santa Fe, the rack you will want consists of the same WingBar # TH711420, Evo feet # TH710501, and Fit kit # TH145059. This crossbars don't end at the feet, so this is more of a traditional roof rack but it is excellent quality and still has a nice look.
