Is there an easy way to tell if my 2015 Chevy Traverse LS has a tow package or not? When it says tow package does that mean there is already a hitch there or is there something else that I should be looking for?

The term "tow package" means different things for different vehicles and manufacturers. The definitive way to know if your 2015 Chevy Traverse has the factory tow package is to have a dealer run the VIN in their system and they can tell you how it is equipped.

But for wiring, it does not matter in this case because wiring harness # 118270 fits models with or without the factory tow package. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
