The front hitch part # 65064 will work for you as it has been confirmed to fit the 1500, 2500, and 3500 models of the 2016 GMC Yukon XL.
A lot of people use front hitches for snow plowing.
For a snow plow I would recommend the K2 # K2AVAL8219 because of how well it works and how easy it is to use.
