Any one of the Tekonsha trailer brake controllers, whether its the Primus IQ # TK90160 or their top Prodigy P3 # 90195, will install the same way in your 2013 Chevrolet Suburban. Your Suburban does not have the handy under-dash port for a brake controller so your installation be a hardwired type, but don't worry; the controller only has 4 wires.
We've actually put together a detailed article on brake controller installation in your vehicle. The article is linked for you and includes color photos and step-by-step instructions. You'll find 4 or 5 blunt cut wires under the left side of the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. The wire bundle can be identified by a white label and the color of the wires, which are red/black, white, light blue/white and dark blue/white.
The Red/Black wire is the battery 12V power feed and connects to the Black wire from the brake controller harness. The White connects to the White and is the ground wire. The Light Blue/White wire connects to the Red wire and is the brake light signal that activates the controller. The Dark Blue wire connects to the Blue wire on the harness and is the brake output wire to the trailer socket. If there is an Orange wire, it can be capped as it is not used.
You'll also make two wiring connections inside the engine compartment. These are for trailer 12V power and for brake controller power. The article also covers this step of the installation.
