Using Tow Ready # 20142 Adapter to Fool Bulb Out Sensor in RV While Pulling Tow Dolly w/ LED Lamps

Question:
The RV is giving me a sensor warning light regarding my Tow Dolly Demco SS lights. The Tow Dolly has LED lights. Would this adapter solve this problem?

If the sensor lamp you're seeing displayed is indicating that you have a trailer taillight bulb out, the Tow Ready # 20142 will indeed work. Since LED's draw a tiny fraction of the power that incandescent bulbs do, a vehicle with a bulb out sensor will think that you have a burned out bulb. The # 20142 has a load resistor in it that fools the sensor into thinking that more power is being drawn through the circuit.
