Your 2003 Dodge 2500 has a 6 ft bed so you will either need a slider fifth wheel hitch or need to swap the pin box out for a Sidewinder. This is so you can execute 90 degree turns.
You will want to choose a fifth wheel hitch that is matched to the weight of the trailer you plan on towing. The best fifth wheel hitch I recommend is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider. If you need an 18,000 lb hitch you would want part # DM8550034. For a bigger fifth wheel hitch with a 21,000 lb weight capacity you would need part # DM8550035. These hitches feature 14 inches of fore to aft travel and will allow you to make those tight turns.
I also recommend the custom installation kit, part # DM8552016-71. This kit installs on your truck without having to drill into the vehicle frame.
