We offer friction sway control units like the Reese # 83660 and Curt # 17200 that you can use with your 2012 Outback Wagon. If you have a 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch you will use Reese Sway-Control Bracket # RP26005, or part # RP26003 for a 2-inch hitch. Friction units like this are typically mounted on the passenger side of the trailer. I have linked an installation video for you.
