Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2008 Chevy Express Van

Question:
I have a 2008 Chevy Express van, 15 passenger. I just installed a tow bar and Im trying to figure out the wiring. I watched your video but Im not sure about the parts. Do I need the set up with the power converter, part #31345 from the video, or do I need part #118392?

Both the trailer wiring harnesses you referenced have been confirmed as fits for your 2008 Chevy Express Van. Either would work well but they have their pros and cons.
The # 118392 will install much easier but will not have the circuit protection. In the event of a trailer wiring short you may end up popping fuses in your vehicle or damaging the circuits.
The # 31345 will be a bit more difficult to install, but it will offer some peace of mind as trailer wiring shorts won't damage the vehicle wiring.
