Measuring Clearance On 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon For Carrying Curt 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier

Question:
Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier - FHG77ZR Im inquiring about the minimal ground clearance between the bottom of the cargo basket and the ground that should be maintained to prevent bumping when you go over a speed bump or a hole or something such as that. I have a Subaru Outback 2014 and it doesn't necessarily set as high as an SUV and I want to ensure that it will set up high enough that there will not be an issue.

You can take the measurement from the bottom of your hitch to the ground to see how much clearance you have. Since different suspension and tires can change the height of the vehicle, measuring will take the guesswork out of the process.
The Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Hitch cargo Carrier with ramp, part # FHG77ZR does not have a rise in the shank so it will come straight out from your hitch. It should have plenty of clearance from the ground behind your Outback. This carrier measures 30 x 50 inches and has a 48-inch loading ramp.
