Question:
I have a 91 Toyota PU that I want to attach a wiring harness for my boat trailer. The trailer has a flat 4 way connector. Not sure where to tap into. Thanks.

No problem. The wiring harness you need for your 1991 Toyota pick up is the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118379. This is a T-one harness that plugs in line with your vehicle taillights and will provide a 4-Flat at the rear of the truck. I have included a video install on a similar vehicle as well as the installation details linked below.
Installation is fairly simple. You will mount the converter on the frame near the left turn light. The converter is needed to take the 3 wire system on your truck and convert it to a 2 wire system used by trailers. Ground the unit using the white wire to the frame or existing ground point. Next, route the plugs with the yellow wire to the left taillight assembly and plug it in line with the existing harness. Then route the plugs with the green wire to the right taillight and plug it inline with the existing harness. Reassemble the taillights and you will be done.
