Will Rear Hatch Open On 2012 Honda Odyssey With Bikes Loaded On Kuat Transfer 3-Bike Carrier

Question:
I have an Honda Odyssey 2012 with Curt hitch trailer #13068. I want to know if Im able to open the rear hatch if I tilt away the Kuat Transfer 3 bike rack with the all bicycles loaded. Thank you.

The Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Platform Rack, part # TS03G is designed to allow you to do just what you said you need. The Transfer is designed to allow you to tilt the rack away from the back of your Odyssey for rear cargo area access, even with the bikes loaded.
One concern is the clearance at the back of your Odyssey for the rack. When it is folded down the distance from the center of the hitch pin hold to the pivot on the rack is 7-1/2 inches. When folded up the distance from the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier is 5 inches. I have attached a photo that shows the measurements of the Transfer you can check out.
