Troubleshooting Sagging Bestop Powered Boards

Question:
I have had these Power Boards on my 2012 F-150 Super Crew for a couple of years now and the steps are sagging, especially at the front. I am assuming that hundreds of entrances and exits have caused this. Is there a nut or screw somewhere that I can adjust so that the boards come completely out of the way just like when they were new?

I spoke to my contact at Bestop and he had a pretty easy solution for the issue you are having. The rear linkage of the board that is sagging there will be 2 bolts that hold it to your truck. Loosen and remove the one closer to the front of the vehicle. Put a washer between the arm and board and that will draw the board up. Depending on how bad the sagging is you may need to use more than one washer.
