Availability of BOLT Locking Tailgate Handle for 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic

Question:
Im really interested in the Tailgate Handle with BOLT Locks for my 2007 classic silverado. Any plans on producing them for the earlier model chevy/gmc trucks?

The best bet for a locking tailgate handle for your 2007 Silverado Classic would be to use the Pop & Lock Power Tailgate Lock, part # PAL8110. If your truck doesn't already have power locks, you'd also need the switch kit, part # PAL9520.
According to my Bolt representative, the tailgate handle assembly of the 1999-2006 and 2007 Classic model Silverado is completely different that that of the 2007 New Body and 2008 to present locking tailgate handles. The tailgate handles of the older trucks were designed in such a way that Bolt cannot design a locking tailgate handle that would work, therefore they have no plans on a locking tailgate handle for the older models.
