California Legal Programmer Recommendation for a 2011 Ford F-250 Diesel Powerstroke

Question:
Hi, Im hoping you can recommend a programmer for me to purchase and install myself. I have a 2011 Ford F-250 6.7L Super Duty that is stock. I run Rotella T6 synthetic oil. I tow a 35 foot travel trailer 8,000 lbs full about 4-5 times a year. When Im not towing, I drive to and from work less than 8 miles one way 5 days a week. I have 111,000 miles on the odometer. I live in California, thus have to accomplish a smog check every other year. My main goal is to increase fuel economy. It would be nice to have a few programs, but I dont need a ton of different program options, Ill probably only take the programmer off the most fuel efficient option when I tow the trailer. I am not interested in making smoke or racing my truck. I thought I would try just a programmer first and leave the exhaust system untouched provided I saw an increase in MPGs. Is it possible to increase MPGs with a tuner and still have stock exhaust system? If a programmer only option doesnt work I would also consider altering the exhaust system if I could put it back to stock myself without welding anything. Thanks in advance,

For your 2011 Ford F-250 with a 6.7 Powerstroke diesel I would recommend the # EP85301. It is a great option though so it would work well for you.. This programmer will boost the efficiency of your motor a solid amount without requiring you to upgrade your exhaust.
This programmer has an economy tune that you would want to use for everyday driving and a tow tune that would maximize efficiency while towing.
