Question:
I Drive a 2006 Dodge 3500 on my 5th wheel trailer I have a breakrite unit installed, when I put the controller to the max it locks up the brakes, however if I lower it just one setting or more the brakes dont work, is there an adjustment that can be made so that it does work? If not Im open for suggestions. Thank you very much I appreciate your response

The adjustability of the brakes of a trailer that has an electric over hydraulic brake setup is controlled by the brake controller of the tow vehicle. If your controller can't be fine-tuned enough so that you get strong braking power without locking the wheels up it might be time for a better brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This controller is also compatible with EOH brake setups like yours.
