How to Install Draw-Tite Activator Brake Controller on a 2006 Ford F-150

Published 05/11/2008

Question:

I have a Draw-Tite Activator Brake controller that I need to install on a 2006 Ford F150. The Brake Control Wiring Adapter that was supplied with the truck has 5 wires red, white, blue, green, brown. How does that connect to the Activator Control that only has 4 wires Red, white, blue, black. Do I just need to order the Universal Brake Control Wiring Adapter code 3035-S, that has the 4 matching wires as the Activator Brake control?

Expert Reply:

You are correct, the Brake Controller Wiring Adapter, part # 3035-S is needed to connect your Activator to the under dash connector. The adapter will easily wire up to the controller color for color.
