Question:
After all this time the chrome bar used to lift the chain bracket into place has come up missing. Draw tite said the Reese bar should work. Purchased it and no it doesnt. The old one was tapered on the end to fit in the hole on the bracket. The new one is to big. Where can I find a something to replace it and how do I return the new one.

Expert Reply:
One option is to replace your lift brackets with part # RP6637; this will allow you to use your present lift bar. Your Draw-Tite chains will still work with these new lift brackets.
You might also take a look at the Curt lift bar # C17112. This has an outer diameter of 1 inch (see image). If the holes on your current brackets have a similar diameter then this bar will work for you.
