Roof Mounted Carrier Needed to Transport Surfboards on Mercedes G63 w/ Front Runner Rack

Question:
I have a Front Runner rack on top of my Mercedes G 63. Can I attach the Thule racks to it and put surfboards on the Thule?

I spoke with my contact at Thule and also shared the picture that you provided. From the looks of the rack, we recommend checking out the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier, # TH810XT, which can be used to transport boards measuring 28 to 34 inches wide. This carrier uses the Speed-Link system and as long as the crossbars on the Front Runner rack measure 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall or less, you can mount this carrier directly to your current rack.
This carrier positions the first board 4 inches above the top of the crossbar so you will want to take a quick measurement to ensure that the front portion of the Front Runner rack won't cause interference.
