Question:
I currently have a SUP TAXI THULE on my explorers factory roof bars for transporting an 116inch SUP. I want to move it to my new 2014 ford escape with panoramic roof and no factory bars. I am looking at the Rhino Rack Aero bars, but I need to know if they will be wide enough to have the SUP Taxi in addition to a J-style kayak rack for example the Thule hull-a-port. I want to be able to transport the SUP and my 12foot kayak on my 2014 escape.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The crossbars of the Rhino Rack roof rack that is confirmed as a fit for your 2014 Ford Escape are 54 inches in width. The maximum board width that the SUP Taxi # TH810XT can fit is 34 inches so that would at least leave you with 20 inches for a J-style kayak carrier like the Hull a Port # TH834 so you should be good.
The part numbers you would need for the Rhino Rack roof rack for your vehicle would be:
# RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK375
