Would the Hitch Extender # RP11006 Work for Towing a Boat Trailer

Question:
I have a 2007 hummer H2 I will be tailoring an aluminum 20 ft boat my tire prohibits me to trailer the boat without an extender . is this model strong enough to trailer my boat? if this is not the correct extender please recommend one tks

The Hitch Extender # RP11006 that you referenced will provide you with 18 inches of extension and has GTW rating of 4000 lbs and a tongue weight rating of 400 lbs. If your boat trailer weighs less than both of those figures the extender itself would work.
However, when you use a hitch extender like this you end up cutting the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent so you will need to be sure that the vehicle you have has twice the capacity needed.
