Your 2005 Dodge Ram has a 3 wire system. To install the 119190, the green converter wire would tap into the right turn signal circuit, the yellow into the left turn circuit, the brown into the running light circuit , the white would ground and the red wire would connect to a brake lamp circuit. If you're wanting a hardwire kit, I'd go with the # 119250KIT, which includes the kit for running the power wire to the vehicle battery and installs without splicing into existing wiring.
Going with the Curt # C55504 would make for an easier installation. The converter would simply plug inline with the connections between the taillight assemblies and the vehicle.
