The Chevrolet Bowtie LED Lighted Vehicle Emblem, part # 86092 is designed for the very thing you asked about. It does fit the location the OEM emblem is currently at. I have attached a photo of the emblem with the dimensions noted.

This emblem is hardwired into the vehicle tail lights with the included fasteners.
