Fit of Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender # F008551

Updated 05/19/2015 | Published 05/17/2015

Question:

I am highly interested in purchasing part number F008551, however the fenders on my trailer are 21.5 long where the ones listed on here are showing 21.80 inches, which is a .30 of an inch difference, would this mount up exactly at the factory fenders or would I need to mock up brackets to make it work for the difference in length, everything else in measurement is the same but the length is the only difference between the two fenders, Thanks again.

The Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender you referenced, part # F008551, is likely to fit your existing fender mounts since the overall difference in length is a modest 0.3-inches. But since there are so many trailer and mounting bracket designs it is hard to say with 100-percent certainty. This fender will have a certain amount of flex that would probably enable you to use a little "English" on it to get the right fit. You may want to install new or adjust your fender mounting brackets but this might not be essential.

I prepared for you a photo of the fender with the dimensions and spacing of its mounting holes to help you estimate the fit on your trailer.
