I have a square tube 15k Reese Pro Series and would like to change the head, can I change out with a 16K Reese pro series head, appears to be same mounting. Can you verify if this is true.

If the square tube slider you have is the part # RP30048 then yes you could go with a Reese 16k head like the # RP58146. You will need the Crossmember Head part # RP58147 as well.
