It sounds like you are trying to determine how much weight you can tow with your 2014 Dodge Ram 2500.
You can open up your driver side door and there will be a plate or sticker with the Gross Combined Weight Rating(GCWR) is for your truck. The GCWR can be different based on what your truck was originally equipped with. You would need to subtract the weight of the vehicle when it is fully loaded from the GCWR figure. That will give you the maximum weight of a fully-loaded-ready-to-tow trailer you can tow.
