Question:
I purchased a 2015 Ram 1500 Express Quad Cab a few weeks ago and am looking for an electric trailer brake controller. I had a Curt controller on my 2008 Ram 2500 but the plug in connection apparently has changed. I picked up a Curt 51453 Control Harness which apparently worked in the 2013 and 2014 model years but it appears the plug in connection harness has changed again. The square harness plug in looks like it has changed from a 3 plug to four plug adding the red wire and eliminating the separate red wire plug on the 41453. Do you have an adaptor harness/controller that will work or am I forced to have a Mopar put on by the dealer?

When it comes to a brake controller for your 2015 Ram 1500 Express Quad Cab, I recommend taking a look at the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. In addition to the controller you would just need the Plug-In Wiring Adapter, # 3024-P, and you are ready to go.
If you still have the Curt controller from your 2008 Ram you would just need the Wiring Adapter, # C51438, in order to install it in your 2015.
