I have the Sports 3 XL and want to know if I can clean it by putting it in a washing machine?

Due to the large size of the Rightline # RL100S30 Sports 3XL rooftop cargo bag, getting it to fit in a household washing machine would be difficult. I spoke with my contact at Rightline, and was told that they recommend cleaning the bag with soapy water and a scrub brush. Rinse the bag thoroughly and allow to thoroughly air dry before storing.

You might be able to find a commercial washer at a laundromat that would accommodate the bag, but my Rightline contact was afraid that a washing machine would damage the zipper.
