Installing Hopkins Backup Sensor System On 2013 BMW 328Xi

Question:
Hello, I see most reviews are on American cars - I have a 2013 bmw 328xi , will this work with this car ? What wires would the reversing wires tie into ? I know or have heard the foreign models are tuff and may throw a error code , Will this happen with the reversing license product ? Thanks

The installation of the Hopkins Backup Sensor System, part # HM60100VA is the similar for your 2013 BMW 328Xi as it is for other vehicles.
When installing you will need to locate the reverse light circuit wire that is showing current when the vehicle is put in reverse. These wires can be found at the back of the tail light. You will need to use the included connectors to attach to the reverse circuit wire and also to the ground.
To make sure you locate the correct wire I recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. I have attached a link to an installation video for this sensor system you can check out.
