Why Does 6-Way Trailer Connector Tester Only Have 5 LED Indicators

Question:
1 . Ive noticed on the six way tester there are only FIVE LED lights and on the Seven way there are only SIX. How does this test six Or seven Functions? 2. One of the reviewers of this product stated that the LED lit, even though there was a lot less than 12 volts going to the connector. Not enough voltage/amperage to light an incandescent bulb. How can this be?

In either case, a 6-Way or 7-Way, there is no light for the ground pin, only the circuits that receive power. The ground completes the circuit so there wouldn't be power on it to light up a light.
LED lights use much, much less power than incandescent lights. So little in fact that even a tiny amount of current (amperage) will light an LED light. And the LEDs on testers like # TR20116 are so small they would use even less power compared to an LED trailer light. So it would not take much amperage or voltage at all to dimly light or even fully light a tiny LED.
