Question:
jamison said needed thes parts, it is a 2500 hd not 1500truck. has 6 way built in above the crome bumper from fractory.Is yours correct?

The Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75151 Jameson recommended will fit your 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel crew cab long bed as long as the truck does not have the factory installed trailer hitch already. The build dates are not a factor for this hitch if the truck is a 2500 or 3500 series.
If the truck already has a trailer connector then you will not have to add any other wiring harness. The connector you have is probably a 7-Way, not a 6-Way. The middle pins count. I have included a picture that shows what a vehicle side 7-Way looks like for you.
