Question:
I am thinking about this for my 2006 Expedition. It has the 4 way flat plug now, but also has the brake controller wiring present. I have a Prodigy wired in. Your product -Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector where at the back do you tap the extra wires for this? I see the wiring for the 4 pin ..but not 100 on the others like the power wire..Thanks for the help

I recommend using the Hopkins Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole, part # 37185 for your 2006 Ford Expedition. I have attached a photo of the adapter that shows the wires and what they are used for you can check out.
You can find the wires you need to connect the adapter to on the driver's side frame rail as shown in the photos I have attached. I have also attached a helpful article that explains how to complete the installation. I recommend using a circuit tester like part # 3808 to test the wires by function.
