Are the Mileage Coaches Available on Edge Programmers Accurate and How do they Work
Published 02/03/2015 >
Question:
I was wondering on the edge with attitude chip if the EcoAvg actually works. I drive an 01 dodge and I had it on level 5 and got what I thought was great then ridiculous from just cruising. And what does the EcoAvg have to be hooked to or does the wiring run with something else or is there even wiring for that?

The mileage coach that is on the Edge programmers like the Juice with Attitude part # EP85301 for your 2008 Dodge Ram with Cummins is accurate. It can read how much fuel your vehicle is consuming and then comparing that to what speed you are traveling it can calculate mileage quickly.
If you are on the highway cruising along at a moderate pace the mileage will be pretty high. It's the starting and stopping that tends to really consume the fuel.
