Camera System Recommendation to Monitor Horses in a Horse Trailer While Traveling
Published 01/20/2015 >
Question:
I want to use the camera to monitor my horses as we travel. I want to see if there is movement or excited activity that I cant hear or feel. What is the depth of field of this unit? If not more than 5-10, is there a model that has a depth of field of 30?

I spoke with my contact at Rampage and he said that while they don't have an exact depth of field that the # RA7710 has, they did test this camera in a horse trailer exactly like what you are planning on doing and it worked very well.
He said if the camera was pointed at the ground for lining up a trailer it would have a depth of field of about 6 or 7 feet, but if you were to point it straight back like what you plan on doing the depth of field would increase to what you would need.
I attached a review video for you to check out as well.
