Will an 18K Select Plus Fifth Wheel Hitch Fit the Slider from a Reese 15K Hitch

I have a 2007 3/4 ton hd crewcab short box with a 15k Reese slide hitch I use for pulling a 30.5 Cougar. I am about to trade up to a 2010 Mountaineer quite a bit heavier and was thinking about the 18k hitch. Do I need to get a different slide kit as well?

You should be able to retain your slider and just swap the 15K head out for an 18K unit. If you have the Reese Kwik Slide Square Tube, part # 30048, you can use Reese Select Plus head, part # 58292. You will also need the head support, part # 58293.
