Question:

I purchased - Thule Top Deck Rooftop Kayak Carrier System with Tie Downs and later purchased the - Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable-Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops - Aluminum - 450 lbs The bolts that came with the orginal top deck are not long enough to attach it to the ladder rack. I was wondering if there are longer bolts that are metric becasue none of the hardware shops in my area sell the longer carriage bolts that are metric?

The carriage bolts that are included with the Thule Top Deck Kayak Carrier, part # TH881 are M6 x 50 mm.

Depending on the length you need we do offer longer carriage bolts from Thule. For a carriage bolt that is just a little over 1/2 inch longer than the bolts you have you can order part # 915-066-554. This is an M6 x 65 mm bolt.

If you need it even longer than that we also offer a carriage bolt that is M6 x 75 mm, part # TH915-0675-11, which would be nearly an inch longer than the Top Deck carriage bolts.
