Difference Between the Two Bestop Treksteps for 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:
What is the difference between the Bestop Tube Step #B75300 and the #B7540015. I noticed that the #B7540015 will fit on the driver or passenger side and is rated for 400 lbs. Other than that is the function, mounting, dimensions, etc the same? And just to confirm, I have a 2011 Silverado Crew Cab 2500HD Diesel with a 6 ½’ bed. Either one of these steps will bolt right in, correct? Thanks for your time,

The Bestop TrekSteps part # B75300 and # B7540015 are very similar in that they both provide a step. However, the biggest difference is how each installs and where they will end up being located on your truck. The # B75300 attaches to the bumper of your vehicle, whereas the # B7540015 attaches to the truck frame.
What this means is that the bumper mount version is designed for use at the rear of the truck and frame mount is designed to install in front of the rear wheel to the truck frame. So depending on where you want the step you would go with either or both.
