Which Fuse is Used in Install of Tow Ready # 118449 Trailer Wiring Harness on 2015 Toyota Highlander

Question:
2015 Toyota Highlander, wiring kit 118449. Hitch and kit installed but the fuse box says it take a 30 amp mini, instructions say 10 amp. Which do I use? thank you

Use the 10 amp fuse. It's okay to use a lower-rated fuse than what the vehicle manufacturer recommends, but you can't use a higher rated fuse. I spoke with my Tow Ready representative, and confirmed that the installation instructions for the # 118449 are correct.
I've linked you to an install video showing the # 118449 trailer wiring harness on a 2013 Highlander. The procedure for your 2015 model would be similar.
