In order to determine if the Saris Traps Fork-Block Bike Carrier Base, # SATRK14, will work in a Subaru Forester or Subaru Crosstrek, you will need to take a couple of measurements.

I would start by measuring the height and width of your vehicle's cargo area to determine what we have to work with.

When it comes to the Saris Traps Fork-Block Bike Carrier Base, # SATRK14, your cargo area will need to be at least 47" wide. If a shorter track is needed, we offer a 35" Triple Track, # SATRK33.

To make sure that there is sufficient height in the cargo area you will need to take a couple measurements on your bike. You will want to measure your bike from the fork mount to the handlebar and add approximately 2-1/2" to account for the carrier base and Fork Block, # SATR1BLK. The next measurement will be from the bottom of the rear tire to the top of your bike seat. If both measurements are less than the height of your cargo area, you are good to go.

To complete the set-up you will also need the Saris Bike Wheel Holder, # SAWHL1.
