Can a Derale Electric Radiator Fan be Used to Cool an Intercooler on a Diesel Motor

Question:
I have a 2014 navara d22 2.5 litre turbo diesel Can I mount one of your 8inch Thermo fans on top of the factory Intercooler? I like the idea of ample airflow thru the intercooler at low speed but high revs ie.hill climbs etc. Can you please advise. Thankyou

Technically you could mount the Derale electric fan # D16308 anywhere that you have space to put it. It has not been designed or tested for intercoolers though, just radiators, so it would be an at your own risk type of situation.
