Today we're going to be taking a look at the square corner hinge with the reverse bracket. This is made from a stainless steel construction which is highly resistant towards rust and corrosion. It's got a nice polished finish on it. It's going to mount on the corner of your trailer, it's going to allow the door to fully swing. It's actually going to allow for a door swing of 270 degrees. Now your mounting hardware is not included.
It does feature a non-removable pin for maximum security and it's going to include 2 spacers in the hinge. That's going to extend the life of the hinge and it's going to allow for easy, non-binding opening and closing. Few measurements to go over with you real quick. If we take a look at the strap length, measuring from this point here the bottom of the curve to the end of the strap, that's going to give us a measurement of 12 inches. Overall length, measuring from the back of the hinge to the end of the strap, that's going to give a measurement of pretty close to 12 and 5/8ths of an inch. The width of the strap, we're looking at 2 inches.
The hinge, this is going to give us a measurement from top to bottom of four and a half inches. Then it's going to give a width measurement overall of 2 and 1/8ths. Now the portion that just makes contact with the trailer, so from this point here to that curve, that's going to measure about an inch and a quarter. The mount holes on the hinge, these are going to be separated on center apart from one another by 3 and one quarter of an inch. Those are going to give us a diameter of 3/8ths inch and then here on the strap, you can see that it contains 3 mounting holes. Those are going to give us a diameter of 5/16ths of an inch and they're going to be separated apart from one another on center.
That looks to be by about 3 and 5/8ths of an inch, that's going to be the same distance between this set as well. From outer hole to outer hole, we're looking at a separation pretty close to 7 and one quarter of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the square corner hinge with the reverse bracket.
