Video Transcript for Review of Jensen RV Stereos - In-Wall Stereo - JEN93YR

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Jensen Mechless RV Single Stereo. It's a single DIN Bluetooth two zone with 12 volts power. So folks, this Bluetooth RV stereo is gonna let you wirelessly stream audio. It does have a built-in seven channel weather band tuner, which will automatically connect to the NOAA in case of weather related emergencies. It's a digital AM/FM tuner that automatically stores and scans through up to 30 of the strongest station signals.

Now it does have an LED or LCD screen, rather, with dimmable backlighting to make it easy to see during the day and night. I went ahead and got this powered up back here just for demonstration. Let's go ahead and pop that on real quick. Okay, as you can see, it popped on. It may be backwards, I'm not quite sure, but bear with me.

So we've got all the different functions here. Let's see if we can change the dimmer. So you got loudness, bass, all those different options. And if you go into, where was it, the setting mode Where I'm still at. Yeah, you can change all those.

If you have presets, you know, these are just factory settings. I haven't changed nothing on this thing yet. And let's see. So you've got volume, you've got you can pair it if you wanna do a Bluetooth connection, those kind of things, the different radio stations. And information.

So you got all these different settings you can go through when you get it hooked up. Again, obviously I've only got it temporarily powered up here just for demo. You would have these other wires for all your speakers and as well as your antenna. It does come with these two included tools. So if you're installing or removing, if you're not familiar, those go into the slots here on the side to let you take it out and everything safely, whenever you need to pop it out of the flush mounted area. And then whenever you're done, you can simply turn the power off or on. There's the dimmer on and off, the power button, and if you hold the power button down, that'll turn it off and you can still see the clock. It keeps the clock on when you're not using it. So a nice little radio/Bluetooth and everything. So again, it's a two zone output. You can connect to six speakers. Those are sold separately. And there's no CDs or anything involved. It's strictly just a Bluetooth connection and that kind of thing. So made of nice lightweight plastic. It's gonna provide more protection during travel than your residential stereos, and as I said, it is a recessed connection. Lemme go ahead and unplug this, so I can show you the backside here. So there's the backside. It comes with the plug here. Again, I plugged it in just so I could give you a demo of it connected. Simply unplugs. Again, your antenna plug. And the metal case here, that comes included as well. I left it on there. Again, you could use the tools, pop that out and everything. So a nice little Jensen Mechless RV Stereo. Again, single DIN is the size. There's single DIN and there's what's called double DINs. If you're not sure what you have, check your owner's manual and all that. It weighs about a pound. There is no mounting hardware included. So if you need that, you would've to get that separately. As far as some quick dimensions, overall, I'm about at 7 and 3/4 and as far as a thickness, about 2 and 1/4 overall. Well, folks, think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look, this is the Jensen Mechless RV Stereo. Again, a single DIN, Bluetooth, 12 volts. I'm Steven, have a good one.

  • Can the Jensen Heavy Duty Mechless Stereo Be Used on a Motorcycle
The Jensen Heavy Duty Mechless RV Stereo part # JEN93YR is not designed for a motorcycle per say but I don't see any issue using this on your 2007 Harley Davidson Street Glide so long as you have room to mount the stereo and you have access to 12 volt power. The wiring harness that you will need for installation is included (see photo). I am not sure what you mean by an adapter for your hand controls but in addition to the photo of the wiring harness, I have also attached for you a copy...

  • Recommended Replacement For An Audiovox VR202 RV Stereo System
Hey Steven, The Jensen Mechless RV Stereo # JEN93YR is going to be the closest option we have to the sizing of the Audivox VR202 with Bluetooth compatibility. Since it's mechless it doesn't have a CD or DVD player and is really only for radio and Bluetooth listening so it's not as modern as some other stereo systems.

  • Replacement RV Stereo for a Furrion DV7XXX
Hey Mike, thanks for the picture. The Jensen Mechless RV Stereo item # JEN93YR measures 7-3/4" wide and 2-1/4" tall. So not at all close to your Furrion DV7XXX. The Jensen Mechless RV Stereo item # JEN25RR would be a better option. It measures 8-1/4" wide x 4-3/8" tall x 6-1/2" long and fits a cut-out of 7-1/16" wide x 3-1/2" tall x 5-1/4" long. You'd need to widen out your cutout a bit but it looks like you have plenty of room. What happened to your Furrion?
