Today, we're going to take a look at this Furrion start capacitor for the 15,500 BTU Furrion air conditioner.Now, this start capacitor will jumpstart the AC when your campsite or generator doesn't provide enough power. This capacitor will store the energy that'll be later be used for the next start-up. The relay switch on your air conditioner will turn the start capacitor off once the sufficient power has been supplied.This is an easy bolt-on installation. Now, the hardware is not included.
And you can see right at the very top here, there are connections to be made.But that should do it for the review on this Furrion start capacitor for the 15,500 BTU Furrion air conditioner.
Ordered this for a Furrion 15k unit.
The AC has two fans, only for inside blower, the other for outside condenser. Plus the compressor, hense the extra fan connection on the capacitor.
The capacitor was a 1/4" shorter, but it fit perfectly.
Switching wires was a breeze except for some cheap rubber on two fan wires. They had ( white) very cheap soft rubber coatings so be careful.
Also keep in mind capacitors hold a CHARGE. So either discharge the original capacitor (shorting connections) or use extreme caution.
I highly recommend this replacement. I received it quickly and in perfect condition.
Saddly this did not fix my problem of the AC tripping the breaker in the morning and evening through out the night when the inside temp is close to the outside temp. Otherwise AC runs great throughout the day.

Perfect replacement for my Furrion RV AC. Arrived quickly and was an exact match. Would reccomend.
This capacitor seems to be unique to Furrion A/C's as far as I can tell. The local HVAC places had no idea what a 60+15+8 capacitor was. Just make sure you get the wires back in the right spot. I had 7 wires for 4 posts. A paint pen works best for me. Hooked it back up and the A/C worked just fine.

Installation went well and the instructions was easy to read and understand.I had the old unit out ,cleansed the roof and installed the new unit by myself in half a day and finished up wiring inside in a short time .Everything worked as explained,Thanks so much for your input and help with picking the right replacement ac unit
